1. Cold Snap
Major news outlets are reporting that the U.S. has fallen into the grasp of a long lasting cold-spell this morning. Minnesota reports a temperature of -3°F with a windchill of -17°F.
In mid-Michigan its a balmy 18°F with a projected high of 24°F, so we are all lounging around in shorts and asking the US at large what they are complaining about. Our part of the country deals with cold winters all the time. Suck it up.
Except that even northern Florida is under a hard freeze warning.
