As you may have guessed, it was a joke.

1. April Fools

As I am sure most of you realized, last Thursday's post was an April Fools joke.

Editor's note: And a rather poor one at that. Next time, try to come up with something at least a little funny, not just an excuse to fire off a quick, lazy post WHILE PRETENDING TO BE ME so you can head off to the bar early.

Oh yeah, and Jim is pretty pissed.

2. Update Changes

While taking off Friday may have done a bit to increase the believability of the April Fools joke,

Editor's note: No it didn't.

it wasn't just part of the fun. I know I haven't been the best about maintaining my update schedule, with frequent unannounced hiatuses and odd missed days (a.k.a. Binges and Hangovers). Sometimes, life just gets in the way. In the interest of keeping a truer schedule and to free up some time for side projects, I am axing Friday updates for the time being. Going forward, SFT will update Monday through Thursday at noon. This may or may not be motivated by early weekend bar specials.

Editor's note: You are and alcoholic. Seek help.

3. Other Amusements

Alas, what will you do to entertain yourselves now that the schedule for SFT is reduced?

Fear not, the internet is full of wonderful and exciting things to waste you time on!

A webcomic about the day to day trials and tribulations of a local computer technician. The art can be a little rough, but for anyone who has ever worked in the IT industry (or any service industry really), the jokes are priceless.

A blog project by a man destined to rule the earth from a secret volcano lair, Tales of a Mad Scientist features some of the funniest prose you will find on the internet (second to SFT, of course). I have mentioned this one before, but it just recently came of hiatus so it is worth giving it another look.

A blog that collects the rants and ravings of a self described "Odd Man". Seems pretty new and doesn't appear to have a regular update schedule (the first post went up around one in the morning), but the posts prove interesting.

Tried and true, Cracked is one of the funniest things on the internet. User submitted articles tend to be a little more interesting the regular columnists, but its all worth checking out.

A fantastic comedy work in progress, Adventurers Incorporated feels like a Dungeons and Dragon's game played by people who define the term Genre Savvy. New and lacking content, but it should be interesting to see where it goes.
