Optimism

It seems like it has been a rough week for a lot of people out there, myself included. In times like these, it is important to take a moment to do something that makes you smile. It not only helps to take your mind off things, but will generally make you feel better. Here are a few things you can do to make your day a little better.

1. Look at/read/watch something funny

I already linked to several things that make me laugh in this post, but those are certainly not the only ones.

Seriously, nothing makes you feel better like some good old fashioned comedy. I mean come on, how can you watch this:

and not feel better?

2. Masturbate

Now now now, I know you are all chuckling and thinking that this is just some old fashioned toilet humor, but seriously, "It is held in many mental health circles that masturbation can relieve depression and lead to a higher sense of self-esteem.". That is right, there is serious support in the medical community for polishing your rod (or flicking your bean, depending on gender).

And for you folks who won't do it for religious reasons, I ask you this: Why would the big guy basically give us a button to release endorphins if he didn't want us to use it?

3.When all else fails, Drink.

I think that one explains itself.
